There are many schedule and charter flights to Antigua;

From the UK: British Airways, Virgin Atlantic fly direct from London and BMI direct from Manchester.

From the US: There are many connecting flights with American Airlines, Caribbean Airlines, Continental, US Air and Delta.

From Europe: Direct flights to Antigua include Condor from Frankfurt and Lauda Air from Italy, (December to May and during the summer - July to September).

The Regional airline LIAT offers scheduled flights daily from Antigua to 20 Caribbean destinations several times a day.

Private charters are also available.

VC Bird International Airport is situated in the North of the island, a 10-minute drive from St John's.

Money and Communications - ATM, Post office and a bureau de change are available.

Eating and drinking - there is a restaurant and a bar.

Shopping - there are shops, including duty-free shopping.

Luggage - a porter service is available; tipping is expected.

Parking - long and short-term parking is available adjacent to the terminal building.

Facilities for Disabled Travellers - ramps and first aid are all provided at the airport and wheelchairs are available. Individual airlines can assist disabled passengers on request. Passengers requiring wheelchairs and assistance should inform their airline prior to travelling.
